Genesis10 is currently seeking a Marketing/Communications - Product Manager - Sr. Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in McLean and Richmond, VA. This is a 6 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Understand customer expectations; identity developer experience best practices; current gaps & technical constraints; drive requirements and ultimately partner with IT Delivery, Operations, enterprise teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance) and third-party vendors (if relevant) to deliver the optimal developer experience Responsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics Partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems Govern the responsible and efficient application of technology resources by assessing opportunities for reusing existing solutions, clearly defining minimum viable products, and always building with extensibility in mind Work with Product Director to establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments Ensure applications are well managed while optimizing developers' time towards application development Work with leaders across the company to find and take advantage of valuable shared services, allowing your team more time to focus on unique, high-value work Delve into microservice and cloud-native architecture to decouple business strategy changes from underlying transaction processing logic, increasing speed to market and reducing risk Drive accelerated continuous discovery process that optimizes on user adoption through outcome orientation and empowerment Collaborate with technology, operations, cyber, compliance, and business partners to coordinate and manage resources and activities to maximize impact and overall return on investment

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 3 years of experience in digital product management

Desired skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering MBA or Master's degree At least 3 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products At least 3 years of experience in Agile product management
