This role will work closely with our sales team, our customers and title companies, all of which will rely on you to be organized, accurate and approachable. The Mortgage Loan Closer role will require an individual to be accommodating while adhering to necessary guidelines in a consistent, professional manner. The daily responsibilities will include; preparing closing documents for our customers, balance funding amounts with title companies, ensure loan conditions have been satisfied and issuing funds to settlement agencies. A successful Mortgage Loan Closer will thrive at multi-tasking, have great attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills. The ability to effectively communicate with others through written or verbal methods is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Draw and release closing documents to the designated Closing Agent
  • Updating, reviewing and validating loan data to ensure loan documents are accurate and compliant
  • Review signed loan documents to verify completed, signed and dated as required
  • Authorize the release of funds to the borrower
  • Cross train in other Closing positions
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years mortgage industry experience preferred but not required
  • Encompass Loan Origination System experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work consistently against required time-lines
