***Job Summary***

Interfaces directly with Stores, Distribution Centers and Transportation Companies to provide a timely flow if merchandise into our stores while working to maintain the lowest possible transportation cost.

***Major Areas of Responsibility:***

* Creates daily delivery schedule based on volume, obtains maximum savings by splitting or combining loads without affecting service to the stores.

* Supports Stores, Distribution Center, Loss Prevention and Transportation companies through timely communication.

* Monitors and communicates with transportation vendors to ensure performance compliance and problem resolution are maintained.

* Creates and monitors cross dock schedule.

* Generates and issues all reports, logs and other written communication.

* Monitors Return to Vendor (RTV) process. (Dispatch, trace)

* Participates in special projects as assigned.
