Position Summary
As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and developing content for digital and offline marketing campaigns in support of the ETS corporate brand. The incumbent will be both an excellent writer and well-versed in content marketing strategy.
The Content Marketing Specialist will work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure that the content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms. The role will report into the Executive Director of Corporate Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities
Meeting with the creative, marketing, and design teams to ideate and define content goals.
Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
Developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
Creating content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media.
Proofreading and editing content before publishing.
Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
Coordinating with the marketing, design, and writing teams to ensure the timely delivery of assignments.
Tracking consumer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations.
Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
Required Experience:
Education
Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary
Experience
2-4 years of writing and editing in an agency or corporate setting.
Experience crafting content marketing pieces based on data and research.
Advanced writing and editing skills, and a high bar for quality.
Understanding of web publishing requirements.
A collaborative approach, teaming across functions and with partners.
Experience re-purposing existing content into new content types for use in diverse channels.
Experience setting and measuring performance against content and channel metrics.
Basic knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO.
Ability to work independently with some supervision.
Excellent aptitude for detail and accuracy and analytical skills.
