Description

SAIC's Army Business Group is currently seeking a Associate Business Development Analystto provide assistance with management of the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), other corporate business systems, and Federal Government contract opportunity search engines. The BD Analyst will also assist the Army Business Group's Business Development and Capture Team in conducting business development and capture activities to include data entry, preparation for trade shows, preparation of briefings, and supporting related capture and proposal activities.

Duties include:

-Remain knowledgeable of relevant CRM/BD policies and best practices to ensure that all CRM entries are accurate.

-Serve as CRM liaison between BD Operations and AFIC BD, Capture, and Program teams to ensure CRM entries and opportunities are properly created, tracked, and updated.

-Monitoring, Researching, and analyzing established databases and other research sources for competitive proposal opportunities (i.e. Sam.Gov, GovWin, Bloomberg, and DACIS.)

-Monitoring, Researching, and analyzing relevant contract vehicles, consortiums, and related contracting organizations for competitive proposal opportunities (i.e., EXPRESS, FEDSIM, AMTC, DOTC, etc.)

-Maintaining close communication with BD, capture, proposal, contract and technical management and/or user groups;

-Develop and perform weekly performance metrics for weekly BD report; Coordination and facilitation of weekly BD report;

-Analyze and execute using existing BD work processes/practices and provide actionable solutions. Able to acquire and analyze data and identify and solve process challenges;

-Maintaining marketing information systems, records, files and databases including project profiles and other standard graphic materials, such as statements of qualifications, matrices, collateral, etc.;

-Developing and revising standard presentations;

-Assisting with the development of executive and internal presentations as needed;

-Assisting in the development and production of proposals, white papers, capture briefings, color reviews and presentation materials;

-Attend meetings as a member of the BD team and with note taking and other administrative functions as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or relevant field (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree).

-1+ years of work experience, preferably in a business or professional services environment.

-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong background working with BD, Finance and Contract and the ability to learn new processes and tools.

- Familiarity with Army acquisition programs

- Travel will be by exception and less than 5%.

- Work schedule will flex in accordance with capture and proposal activities.

- Be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
