Summary Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst II assists in developing and maintaining corporate financial functions for CoxHealth. Assists with planning and strategy including, but not limited to, long term capital planning, productivity, cost savings, and driving innovative programming to improve financial and operational performance. Assists the Admin. Director of Finance as well as VP’s of Finance as requested. This position is a senior member of the team that works independently but also collaborates with the team to complete projects. This position will provide training and assistance to the other financial analysts as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Preferred: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

Experience

Required: 7 years’ experience in healthcare core finance activities: Budget, Productivity, Capital Planning/Tracking

Skills

Excellent systematic problem-solving skills and communication skills Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications Excellent computer skills, including the ability to quickly learn new software applications, and report writing Organized, efficient time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills Attention to detail and accuracy The ability to communicate at a high level with all stakeholders, including Admin. Directors, Vice Presidents, Senior Leaders, and external parties Ability to lead projects independently Ability to mentor team members
