Key Responsibilities

Responsible for accounting activities associated with general ledger transactions including journal entries and account reconciliation Responsible for ensuring internal controls are in place and effective through monitoring and testing Responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures through review, analysis and documentation Active role in the Budget/Forecast process including guidance, trend/ad-hoc analysis and data reports for both field and management Assist with capital expenditure requests through financial modeling and written expenditure justifications Review legal documents to ensure compliance with terms and accurate reporting Manage direct reports across multiple functions Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance requirements Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with and knowledge of JD Edwards, Blackline, IBM Planning Analytics, Cognos and Tableau a plus Exceptional interpersonal skills- verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Professional designation desired or working towards (MBA, CPA or CMA) 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, public accounting or on accounting staff of a large, publicly owned manufacturing company preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Most time is spent in an air-conditioned office environment with some assignments outdoors that may require exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust and various weather conditions. Occasional overnight travel required. Physical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 5 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity, standing, sitting (must be able to sit for extended periods of time) climbing stairs, bending, and stooping. #J-18808-Ljbffr
