Front Desk Coordinator We are looking for a front desk coordinator to join our team in La Habra Heights, California. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing excellent customer service. As a long-term contract position, it offers the opportunity to contribute to various tasks that support the city's daily functions. Responsibilities: Handle cashiering tasks efficiently and accurately. Manage the routing of building plans to ensure proper processing. Coordinate inspection schedules for the building inspector. Issue business licenses and permits for the building and public works departments. Conduct surveys, perform research, and compile data for special studies. Perform general office duties, including ordering supplies, data entry, and file organization. Utilize the city's record management system for document handling and archiving. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Support other administrative tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations. Requirements: Proven ability to perform back-office support tasks effectively. Experience with administrative office functions is highly desirable. Skilled in basic office tasks such as data entry and file management. Familiarity with receptionist duties, including customer service and communication. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in conducting research and compiling data. Comfort with using digital record management systems like Laserfiche. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
