What will this person be working on
As a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator, this person will be working closely with application teams for implementing project specific tasks, maintain existing databases and perform daily/weekly/monthly/yearly tasks. Will involve in DR activities. Collaborate with data architects, developers and stakeholders to design data models (CDM, LDM, PDM) and implement, database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships. Create / Modify Data Models using Data Modeling tools.

Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'
7-10 years of Oracle Database Administrator experience
2-4 years of experience in working large scale projects. Should have knowledge of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms.
Must have RAC clustering knowledge.
1-2 years of experience in SOX related requests.
Strong technical knowledge of Oracle database administration, architecture/design, data analysis and management
Strong technical knowledge of current Oracle database systems and versions, including other DB tools (Toad), utilities and active directory
Extensive application support experience working with application teams
High-level understanding of IT infrastructure planning and development.
Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Good understanding of Project Management skills.
Automotive industry IT knowledge is preferred.
