The main focus of the team is to collect outstanding debt from health insurance or patients. The patients that we serve are patients that receive continuous positive airway and non-invasive ventilation equipment and supplies from Aeroflow Sleep.Sleep Billing is unique in that we have 3 teams within the one. One team consists of Patient Advocates who are the face of Aeroflow Sleep Billing. The second team is composed of junior and senior insurance specialists and the third team is our Prior Authorization team.Your Primary Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Patient Advocate. A Patient Advocate is typically responsible for:Assisting patients with billing/insurance/account operation needsHigh volume inbound and outbound phone workInsurance verificationClearly convey adjudicated claims and explanation of benefits to patientsVerification of required medical documentationProvide excellent customer service through phone calls and emailsAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilitiesPerforms other duties as requiredEmployees have an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.Maintain HIPAA confidentialitySkills for Success High volume inbound and outbound phone workSelf-disciplined, ability to multitask, excellent critical thinking skills, research, and work cohesively as team memberA proven work history illustrating stability and reliabilityExceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsMaintain HIPAA confidentialityRequired Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of customer serviceMicrosoft Office proficiencyGoogle/Gmail proficiencyYou might also have Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, composed manneInsurance, billing and/or accounts receivable experience preferredPrevious office experience preferredMulti-phone line/Call center experience is preferredWhat we look for We're looking for bright, ambitious go-getters who aren't afraid to go all in to contribute to meeting (and exceeding) team and personal goals.
