We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance Revenue team. The role requires strong analytical skills coupled with a high degree of internal customer interaction across broader finance organization. The candidate will have the opportunity to make significant impact by pulling large scale data, understanding trends and key drivers of results and summarizing findings into leadership level insights and story points. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving reporting metrics and trends on revenue and related metrics (bookings, orders, and attrition) that are presented to senior leadership. Deliverables range from maintaining forecasting models, bridging, preparing global revenue presentations, and creating Tableau visuals to report topline metrics. Responsibilities: Analyze actual and forecast variance details to understand drivers. Continuously improve the quality and accessibility of our data. Develop models and data solutions to contribute the company’s strategy and goals. Work with very large data sets to identify trends or issues and turn them into actionable recommendations. Work closely with revenue recognition, accounting and order processing teams to understand impact of related processes on revenue results. Engage with other Finance teams to understand key revenue drivers or differences in business models as applicable. Ability to independently address new analytical requests: understand the main question being asked, gather needed data, build models, validate assumptions, perform analyses, summarize and present executive-level summarized results in a compelling manner. Work with different data sources to determine best way to analyze issues. Required Skills/Experience: Advanced Excel modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models using logical reasoning. Intermediate to advanced experience with relational database tools and scripting (e.g. SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI). Strong teamwork, collaboration, communication, reporting, and presentations skills. Bachelor’s Degree - Preferably in quantitative field like Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, etc., or work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. Ability to work with remote management and business partners. Preferred Skills/Experience: Desire to figure out complex problems and constantly think about how to make processes more efficient. Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment and navigate through ambiguity. Systems and tools experience—Snowflake, Tableau, Hyperion, Salesforce CRM, Zuora (RevPro), Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace.
