The Opportunity

As part of the Americas team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Warranty Manager. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Warranty Manager who is responsible for ensuring the effective handling of warranty claims, enhancing product quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for SANY America Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Warranty Management:
      • Oversee the warranty claim process from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
      • Review and analyze warranty claims to identify patterns, root causes, and potential areas for improvement.
      • Develop and implement warranty policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
      • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve warranty issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
      • Prepare and present warranty performance reports, including metrics and trends, to senior management.
    • Quality Management:
      • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and maintain quality standards for products and services.
      • Monitor product performance and reliability, and drive initiatives to address quality concerns and improve product durability.
      • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
      • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on quality data and warranty analysis.
      • Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects and initiatives.
    • Continuous Improvement:
      • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance warranty and quality processes.
      • Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to warranty and quality management.
      • Provide training and support to staff on warranty and quality procedures and best practices.
    • Customer and Supplier Relations:
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and address their concerns effectively.
      • Work closely with suppliers to resolve warranty issues and ensure they meet quality expectations.
      • Act as a point of contact for escalated warranty and quality issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in warranty management, quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of warranty processes, claims management, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in warranty management software and quality management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred qualifications
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) or related fields.
  • Experience in heavy equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warranty and quality.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, Chinese (conversational and technical)
