Trissential is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with experience in PeopleSoft HCM to join our clients team in a hybrid role with onsite work in St. Paul, MN. The ideal candidate will perform business analysis and future state business process documentation to support Self Service implementation. They will analyze current employee data to define key configuration items for employees, supervisors, and payroll administrators in the new time reporting system. Additionally, they will document business process changes related to Self Service implementation, ensuring seamless integration and consistency across organizational practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with diverse teams. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities:
  • Document new business procedures with team members across multiple organizational units to determine system configuration for employees, supervisors, and payroll administrators related to Self Service implementation
  • Create maintenance procedures for the documented business processes
  • Analyze employee data to identify key configuration items for implementation
  • Analyze the practice of time coding and summarize data for the project team, supervisors, and managers
  • Make recommendations for the use of SEMA 4/Self Service tools such as SpeedCharts
  • Provide additional analysis and process documentation as identified by the Self Service Implementation team
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to document new business procedures and create maintenance processes
  • Ability to work effectively with team members across multiple organizational units
  • Strong facilitation skills for group meetings and discussions
  • Possession of a bachelors degree in computer sciences, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in business and systems analysis
Essential skills:
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing and summarizing data for supervisor and manager review
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate large and small group meetings and elicit participation
Desired Skills:
  • Expertise in government operations.
  • Knowledge of Human Capital Management systems
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting systems
  • Understanding of GAAP/GASB principals or concepts
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in analyzing, planning, and delivering to achieve specific scope for functional areas such as Strategy, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Change, Business Analysis, and Process Analysis
  • Background in planning system and business process changes across a large organization
  • Documenting business processes across organizational units, including achieving consensus for changes
  • Experience in analyzing employee data and time coding practices
  • Brings industry experience to consult on leading practices, ensuring the optimal combination of people, processes, and tools across various disciplines
  • Demonstrates expertise in functional and industry areas, contributing to effective and efficient delivery
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to rally teams towards achieving results while maintaining a focus on the employee experience
  • Typically focuses on a specific functional area, business unit, or core capability, with skills applicable across multiple areas


Benefits:

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
