Presales Engineers apply this product and domain situational fluency and expertise to support all Presales activities including but not limited to; evaluating Client needs and applying Securitas Healthcare solutions to resolve or improve outcomes, diagnosing Client concerns, delivering presentations, responding to Client technical issues and questions, contributing to RFI/RFP responses, and in general working with the sales organization to identify and close targeted opportunities.Presales Engineers are a key source of market research by identifying and documenting future product and application requirements. This is a salaried position requiring some travel, may be located within proximity of an existing Securitas office or under some circumstances can be located elsewhere in the U.S. working from a home office, meeting the desired coverage time zone. This role also includes a variable compensation as part of the pay package.Specific ResponsibilitiesProvide presales support for Sales, Partners and Clients. Answer application and module questions, leveraging Product Development staff as needed.Develop solution designs focused on meeting Client needs while protecting the Client’s and Securitas’ interests with deliverable solutions.Support Client sales meetings (local and remote).Establish credibility with the Client and position oneself as their trusted advocate.Act as conduit between sales, Client and Securitas Healthcare product development, implementation, training, and support groups.Create supporting solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, solution design summaries)Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and ExperienceBA, BS, BSC, AA or AS degree, or equivalent3 to 5 years’ experience with long term caresolution required5 years sales/presales experience with Senior Living/ Long Term Care security systems preferredClient facing skills (public speaking, written communication) requiredTechnical writing and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) experience requiredKnowledge of RF and networking principles preferredLow voltage cabling design and/or experience preferredLimited Knowledge of VMware and Server Infrastructure principles preferredLimited Travel (must have valid driver’s license)We are a nationwide provider of security solutions and an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
