Job Summary

The Service and Warranty Manager is responsible for managing the service and warranty operations of the company. This role ensures that customers receive prompt and effective service support, manages warranty claims efficiently, and maintains high standards of service delivery. The Service and Warranty Manager also plays a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication and resolution of issues. *Based on the DFW Metroplex with up to 20% of travel*

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement service procedures, policies, and standards to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor service metrics and implement improvements to achieve customer service goals.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex service issues.
  • Manage the warranty process from claim submission to resolution.
  • Evaluate warranty claims for validity and ensure compliance with warranty policies.
  • Maintain accurate warranty records and databases.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment within the service and warranty department.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service updates, warranty claims, and issue resolution.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on feedback.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in service management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
