EHR Intelligence Analyst Sr

Major Responsibilities:

Reporting and measurement- Using workflow knowledge to ensure seamless use of information and data by end users. Identification, use and reporting of performance improvement. Project Management and use of project management tools. Analyzes, designs, develops, and valid reporting build to meet end user requirements. Request Intake, gathering requirements, build coordination, and end user validation. Management of multiple medium to large sized projects to be completed in a timely fashion. Training and education to end users on reporting tools. Lead Epic code upgrades through all phases: design, build, test, operational. Support: Serving on the reporting team on-call pool within the HIT ticketing system. Build professional skills by maintaining awareness of healthcare environment, EHR technology, evidence based practice, leadership, and informatics industry trends. Serve as an SME on initiatives that require reporting expertise. Provides mentorship.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Epic Cogito Data Warehouse certification issued by Epic. needs to be obtained within 60 days.

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

Experience Required:

Typically requires 5 years of experience in Epic Cogito and BI Reporting tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Expert with Microsoft products Expert with EHR Workflows and reporting Broad based knowledge and proficiency in both hardware and software Expert in data visualization concepts Expert knowledge of database concepts, querying methodology, or programming languages Proven ability to create and maintain dashboards/reports intended to summarize data for multiple audiences Expert in performing independent analysis on key organization clinical, financial, and operational metrics Expert in the ability to manage multiple medium to large sized projects, tasks. Ability to create elaborate and concise documentation deliverables to support education and presentation efforts Strong customer service skills Highly organized and accountable Effective in developing customer relationships and an active listener Exceptional communication from an oral and written perspective Requires very little supervision, self starter, solution oriented Demonstrated strong analytical and logical thinking, creativity, self-reliance, communication skills and ability to effectively integrate varied components of a system. Team player with a positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service and a desire to learn healthcare related systems and business processes.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Travel outside of workplace is required and thus incumbent is exposed to weather and road conditions. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. Exposed to normal office environment.
