Job Description:

The Accounting Manager will ensure various accounting tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with Omni Hotels Standards and ensure cash controls are in compliance with all Omni Hotels internal controls and SOPs.

Responsibilities:
  • Control house/managers fund of this property including all banks issued out of this fund for house/associate banks.
  • Reinforce Over/Short policy and appropriate follow up.
  • Process all property petty cash for reimbursement into negotiable funds.
  • Process all Front Office due backs.
  • Ensure a smooth Accounts Payable Process and monitor and approve Accounts Payable batches.
  • Assist and support the Asst. Director of Finance in Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Reconcile credit card transactions on a daily basis and balance to cash concentration account.
  • Manage the chargeback procedure to help resolve the notifications received for the credit card companies
Qualifications:
  • Must have working knowledge of basic computer systems and intermediate computer skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have a sense of urgency and a willingness to complete everything as outlined in job description
  • High school or equivalent education required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience desirable in hotel setting or Accounting
