Your day will be spent managing full-cycle accounting from monthly close to financial statement reporting to tax compliance, but you will also have an opportunity to engage in special projects. What does the day to day look like Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and taxes Assist in maintaining and updating internal controls over financial reporting Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Assess current policies, systems, and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of required filings Research technical accounting issues and implement as needed Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions Assist with audit requests as needed Why you might like it You have expanded the breadth of your accounting experience over the past few years and are looking to take it one step further in your career by owning the entire function at a B2B SaaS company. CPA designation preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results. Netsuite knowledge required. Experience with other financial systems including Salesforce and Avalara is preferred. Follow and comply with GAAP for financial statement reporting. Software industry experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Google Suite preferred.
