We're looking for an enthusiastic Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) Mammographer to support mammography services to its mobile schedule and Waikato Breast Care Centre and other fixed sites. The role will also be an integral member of the Waikato Hospital Breast Care Centre team. The Breast Care Centre at Waikato Hospital runs a busy and varied screening, assessment and diagnostic service for the Waikato population. You will also have the opportunity to work with the wider screening services teams. BreastScreen Midland has two mobile units that travel to over 30 sites a year to Waikato, Lakes and Bay of Plenty rural communities, delivering the national BreastScreen Aotearoa Programme. The role will therefore require you to stay away, with other team members, when we visit some of our communities, such as Coromandel Town and Whitianga. This provides a great opportunity to see and experience more of our wonderful region.
