Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Technologist Trainee to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans of patients to produce accurate images for diagnosis and treatment
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Two years of experience in CT scanning preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
