Position Overview:

The Sales Manager position will lead the sales team to achievement of company revenue goals. This includes but is not limited to facilitating weekly and monthly team meetings, along with hiring, training, and developing all new sales team members. This includes but is not limited to hiring, training, and developing all sales development team members. This leader will serve as a subject matter expert on all tools, processes and technologies for the sales development team. The individual will align with Senior Leadership to implement and execute the current and future strategic plan of NASM. The manager will be responsible for monitoring and managing compliance of best practices and policies, while establishing a culture that is customer centric. A qualified candidate will provide excellent leadership skills and champion the NASM core values. This position is located in our Gilbert, AZ Office.

Responsibilities:

* Manage Program Advisors including overall goal achievement, employee development, and day to day coaching.

* Efficient lead management and Account follow-up through effective use of communication tools

* Establish and maintain a high level of customer support

* Manage a team to accurately collect client information and adherence to defined processes/procedures within the CRM system

* Adherence of the team to established customer service standards as customer facing employees (internally and externally)

* Interface with and advise the director on current operational issues

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Manage set number of Program Advisors

* Approve pricing outside of traditional structure on a case by case basis

* Integrate use of sales process, scripts, systems and training

* Drive adherence to service standards, process and policy

* Lead weekly team meetings and one on one coaching

* On-boarding, training, and mentoring of NASM Program Advisors

Education & Experience:

* Bachelors degree

* 3+ years management and sales experience, account management

* 18 + months experience as a Program Advisor

* Sales management experience preferred

Skills & Abilities:

* Proven ability to drive sales achievement

* Experience with high volume sales channels

* Support team with day to day responsibilities

* Understanding of NASMs websites and products served

* Experience and competency with Microsoft CRM or equivalent technology solutions

* Self-motivated and energetic with a drive to succeed

* Strong ability to listen and collect information, and then to communicate and assist customers with their needs verbally via phone and written email

* Strong problem Solving and Decision Making skills

* Ability to work well with and motivate others to positively impact the sales results of our team and to better serve our customers

* Follows internal processes/procedures with consistency and accuracy, and with careful organization to maximize efficiency and sales productivity

Other Requirements (Travel, Shifts, Physical Demands, etc.):

* This position includes minimal travel for industry related live events

* This position is located in our Gilbert, AZ Office
