Job Description:
Develop relationships with the Business Unit Leader, Regional Managers and colleagues at T2ue Branches throughout the South to obtain valuable market knowledge and translate that into effective sales opportunities. Develop strategic teaming “partnerships”; work closely with T2ue Business Unit Leader, Regional Managers and project managers to build and solidify relationships with existing and potential clients.
Promote the broad array of T2ue capabilities and service offerings (Survey, SUE and UC) to clients and potential clients, in a concerted effort to be the “go to” provider for related service projects.
Responsible for developing a consistent prospecting strategy for each of the Branch offices throughout the South while embracing a seller-doer model.
Work in collaboration with the South Business Unit Leader, Regional Managers and Branch Offices to identify “Plus One “opportunities, attend relevant local tradeshow/events/networking/lunch, and Lunch-n-learn opportunities.
Work in collaboration with National Director, Business Development to identify National tradeshow/event support opportunities.
Stay abreast of industry developments and upcoming teaming opportunities for upcoming projects to benefit the South Business Unit.
Provide AOP sales goal tracking and BD bi-weekly activity reporting to National Director, Business Development. As well, as attend weekly “check in” calls.
Make yourself available to the client. Business Development Managers must always be quick to respond regardless of the schedule for that day. Business Development Managers will have the tools necessary to be able to work efficiently while working remote.
Take the time necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of our client’s products/services to help better serve their needs.
Create long-term sales strategies that will help to develop into a trusted advisor role.
Help the client to understand the ROI of our services.
Business Development Managers are responsible for keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reporting.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and sales/marketing practices.
Maintain well organized documentation regarding client contacts and communication that is readily available to share with local, regional, business unit and national managers.
Ability to travel extensively and for extended periods of time
Training and Development
Attend scheduled Business Development training courses with the emphasis not only on sales prospecting and relationship building but also in T2ue product knowledge.
