We are seeking al full-time Yard Worker to join our team.

This is a non-union position.

As a member of our Operations Department, this individual will report directly to the General Superintendent. Duties and Responsibilities ● Warehouse and yard maintenance. ● Load/Off-load trucks. ● Maintain a clean work environment in our Shop ● Maintain inventory and organize materials. ● Strip panels and lumber. ● Assist with minor tool repairs. ● Pick up will call orders from vendors. Safely secure loads using straps, chains, and binders. ● Confirm orders, organize and center loads. ● Communicate logistics, schedule, and delays with employees and vendors. ● Wash equipment. • Follow all required safety rules, policies, and procedures. ● Perform daily shop closing duties. • Assist with projects around the shop. ● Otter duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience with a construction company working in a construction yard. High school diploma or GED 2 + years previous experience as a yard worker is preferred. Prior knowledge of building materials preferred. Prior knowledge of construction tools and uses. Forklift and Gradall experience Basic math, measuring, dimensions and weights. Safety conscious. Good computer skills using Microsoft Excel. Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts. Ability to lift 50+ lbs., and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout the work shift. Strong communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish a plus). Willingness to learn. Team player. Punctual, team player, follows instructions. Good verbal communication skills. Must maintain a good driving record. Class A license is a bonus. Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen test. Bilingual/Spanish, a plus.
