Core Expectations:

  • Oversees each stage of the construction lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Secures necessary regulatory information and permits.
  • Coordinates purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensures projects are in line with overall strategy and criteria.
  • Manages subcontractors and construction workers to guarantee quality work.
  • Establishes and follows a budget, schedule, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with a team of architects, designers, engineers, electricians, and other specialists, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Ensures compliance with all local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and safety precautions.
  • Utilizes scheduling software for schedule updates, progress tracking, and documentation of project progression.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in using construction project management software.
  • Ability to establish robust relationships with contractors and construction workers.
  • Strong skills in organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Has undergone Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training.
  • Possesses a Construction Project Management certification.
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of practical construction experience.
