Responsibilities:

As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance for the organization comprising over 200 employees. This position reports to Chief Operating Officer.

  • Recruit for all company positions including first-level screening
  • Work with Director of Retail Sales to forecast future staffing needs and identify candidates to fill those needs
  • Ensure compliance with required training and documentation
  • Manage all HR related communications
  • Onboard and complete orientation for all new employees
  • Maintain HR systems and data management
  • Provide a place for employees to confidentially discuss concerns and questions
  • Execute reference and background checks
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Support all Fleet Feet initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of HR experience preferred
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS
  • Strong business acumen and retail industry knowledge
  • Ability to think strategically about issues and opportunities to properly assess organizational impact
  • Problem-solver who enjoys challenges
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to listen and adapt
  • Builds and maintains trust by using sound judgment
  • Willing to go above and beyond when needed
