Perform various research and analyses to support routine and special projects. Support annual audits, budgeting, information returns, and grant reporting. Duties include: Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare monthly adjusting journal entries. Prepare monthly draft financial statements. Analyze and explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted results. Review workpapers and entries made by other staff members. Ensure workpapers are audit ready. Assist with internal and external audits. Collaborate with finance department staff and other departments, as necessary. Assist with documenting processes. Assist with tracking grant expenditures. Perform additional duties as assigned.
