The ideal candidate enhances our comprehensive model of care by offering Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) as an adjunctive treatment to non-surgical spinal conditions. Call is taken from home and amounts to approximately six weeks per year. The selected candidate will join 11 physiatrists, 12 surgeons, 3 anesthesiologists, and 3 physical therapists.
About the position:
Leading spine and neurosurgical practice in the state of Maine.
Clinical work includes consultations and ongoing management of spine conditions and musculoskeletal disorders.
Work alongside physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and anesthesiologists.

medical building with on-site access to EMG, X-ray, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and MRI. Access colleagues in Neurology, Vascular surgery, and ENT in the same building.
Competitive compensation starting at $290K with additional productivity-based earning opportunity. Compensation package includes sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physiatry (Physiatry applicants).
Prior experience with the diagnosis and management of a variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
Experience with and desire to incorporate OMT when clinically appropriate.
