TITLE: Customer Service Clerk

JOB SUMMARY: This is a temporary position to help customers in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Responsible to review submitted construction plan packages, for completeness, and utilize several computer programs to upload and send information to customers virtually. All training provided on the job.

Type: Temporary

Location: Downtown Phoenix

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; M-F

Start Date: Immediately upon passing background

Duration: 6 months with possible extensions

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Benefits: Available after eligibility period

DUTIES

  • Screening submittal packages for completeness
  • Log plan information into the database system
  • Taking payments for plan review and permits
  • Verifying project completeness for permit issuance
  • Answers questions over the phone, via email and at the counter regarding permit and plan review fees and status
  • Notify customers when plans are complete and of any fees due
  • Guiding customers through our online web portal and ProjectDox system
  • Information Desk coverage
REQUIREMENTS
  • Intermediate knowledge or Word and Excel
  • Ability to type 25 wpm
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • BACKGROUND AND CREDIT CHECK REQUIRED
