Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Air Export Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient coordination of air export shipments from origin to destination. You will work closely with customers, airlines, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and meet all customs regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire air export process, from receiving customer bookings to shipment delivery.
  • Prepare and review air waybills (AWBs) and other export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations (IATA, TSA, etc.).
  • Negotiate competitive rates with airlines and secure optimal booking arrangements.
  • Arrange for collection of cargo from customer locations and coordinate with warehouse teams for proper handling and loading.
  • Classify and prepare dangerous goods shipments according to IATA regulations (if applicable).
  • Liaise with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed of shipment status and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in air freight forwarding or a related logistics field.
  • Strong understanding of air export procedures, documentation, and regulations.
  • Proficient in freight forwarding software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A problem-solving and proactive approach.
