The Manufacturing and Internal Quality Engineer will play a critical role in driving efficiency, quality, and innovation within the manufacturing operations of the organization. This role requires a proactive and versatile approach to manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process optimization, tooling design, quality, troubleshooting, and collaboration across various departments.MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Continuously monitor existing manufacturing processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement to optimize efficiency and quality. Design and improve manufacturing layouts, equipment, and systems to enhance productivity and quality. Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create detailed drawings, schematics, and models for tooling, equipment, and manufacturing layouts. Monitor Die and Mold maintenance and modifications as needed to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Utilize deep draw/metal forming, injection molding, and rotational molding knowledge to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of tooling for manufacturing processes. Assist in the quoting of tooling by providing technical expertise and insights into manufacturing processes. Collaborate in the quoting of new manufactured products, offering input on feasibility, cost, and production requirements. Actively troubleshoot manufacturing issues as they arise, employing problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Provide comprehensive support to all manufacturing areas, sales, and Quality Assurance (QA) departments, facilitating smooth operations and timely project completion.Oversee and manage the maintenance department. INTERNAL QUALITY ENGINEER Create visual aids such as process flowcharts, diagrams, and posters to communicate important information and instructions to employees. Analyze scrap data to identify patterns and areas for improvement. Implement measures to minimize scrap generation through process improvements, employee training, and quality control measures. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust as necessary. Define and quantify different aspects of quality costs, including prevention, appraisal, internal failure, and external failure costs.Champion and promote Company Core Values across all aspects of work and interactions.Requirements5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on electro-mechanical systems, or quality. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field. Proficiency in Manufacturing Resources Planning System.Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.Acute attention to detail. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work as part of a team.
