Clinical Supervisor of Counseling Services Job Description
- Fulfill all responsibilities of a clinician (LPC, LCSW, psychologist) for assigned caseload.
- Provide leadership and oversight of counseling and psychological services
- Review, monitor, and evaluate treatment integrity of counseling and psychological services to ensure optimal implementation of treatment protocols.
- Oversight and management of Clinician’s initial and ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Provide support and guidance for crisis calls.
- Provide mentorship to Clinician’s ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Provide supervision as needed to residents and clinically placed interns
- Conduct individual and group collaboration meetings with Clinicians.
- Ensure all supervision hours are met for all licensed staff.
- Ensure all notes & documents meet medical necessity guidelines, state requirements, and CMS requirements
- Ensure all SUD programming requirement are met including surveying and reporting
- Consistently pursue additional education, experience, and supervision necessary to reach professional goals.
- Conduct yearly evaluations
Qualifications
- Masters degree (minimum)
- CAPSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
- Strong Clinical skills
- Positive, growth-oriented personality
- Organized, with the ability to maintain professional records
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with the other clinicians
- Previous clinical supervision experience
- Commitment & eagerness to grow a thriving clinical practice
