Electrician

Job Description:

• Electricians with Journeyman’s card, or 7+ years of direct electrician experience. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance.
• A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit. Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry (automotive preferred)
• Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry.
• PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important) our Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience would be preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Please note, if candidates were heavier on PLC's and lighter on CNC's or vice versa it would be fine.

• Candidate should be experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuity.
• Most importantly, should be able to show examples of troubleshooting these items.
• They will be exposed to but not limited to 24v DC, 120v, 277v, and 480v circuits.
• Troubleshooting can range from troubleshooting proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet and communication issues, motors, drives, relays, etc.

Experience Preferred:

• Automotive industry experience preferred Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.
