Job Summary:
Seeking an Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless and effective functioning of our mortgage operations.
Responsibilities include handling various administrative and operational duties, providing support to our mortgage team, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate acute attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•Loan Processing Support: Assist in the processing of mortgage loan applications, including document collection, verification, and data entry.
•Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, and providing updates on loan status.
•Documentation Management: Ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Data Analysis: Analyze loan data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
•Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all processes adhere to compliance standards.
•Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on loan processing activities, identifying areas for process improvement.
•Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
•Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage operations or a similar role.
Skills:
•Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
•Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
•Certifications: Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license is a plus.
