InterVision Company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse facility in Ashland, VA. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. This position is responsible for managing procurement processes, overseeing inventory management, and coordinating logistics operations. A successful warehouse specialist must also have proficiency with Microsoft Office apps such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to business processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office apps, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects. (Forklift, pallet jack, and hand trucks available)
  • Valid driver's license and forklift certification.
  • Must be able to work in varied climates - indoor office space, warm or cold warehouse.
Some of the exciting work you will encounter:
  • Plan and manage the layout and storage of items in the warehouse, optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and inventory management.
  • Work with a variety of spreadsheets in various platforms such as Excel, SharePoint, etc
  • Receive daily shipments from carriers, inventory and document the shipment, and place items into inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and ship equipment items as requested by project teams
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and project management to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any warehouse issues or problems.
  • Keep up to date with warehouse best practices and technologies.
