We are currently seeking a Parts Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in a dealership environment, looking to advance their careers. The successful candidate will be a dependable and professional individual responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the availability of parts in our bustling dealership. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer needs and accurately identify required parts
  • Generate and adjust purchase orders as necessary
  • Submit purchase orders to designated vendors for parts procurement
  • Document warranty parts returns efficiently
  • Log specific ordered parts into the dealership's computer system and inform relevant personnel upon arrival
  • Monitor the tracking of ordered parts
  • Handle and finalize outstanding invoices
  • Verify the quality and quantity of received merchandise against invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of external purchases and parts transactions
  • Conduct regular inventory checks in the parts warehouse
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a dealership parts department
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, Motor Vehicle Record evaluation, and drug screening
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
