JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Automation & eCommerce Specialist is the driving force behind Western States' digital customer engagement and online sales strategy. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics to create a seamless and personalized customer journey, while ensuring our eCommerce platform operates at its full potential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Safety

  • Maintains clean/clutter free work areas to ensure safe environments for all WSECO employees.

Marketing Automation & eCommerce
  • Spearheads the integration of marketing automation tools with CRM and other platforms for efficient data management and workflow automation.
  • Crafts and fine-tunes sophisticated email campaigns, measuring their success through engagement metrics and conversion rates.
  • Fosters a collaborative environment with various departments to ensure marketing campaigns are cohesive and effective.
  • Analyzes campaign data to identify trends and insights, using this information to drive strategic decisions.
  • Reports on key performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Utilizes A/B testing to refine marketing strategies, focusing on enhancing user experience and maximizing ROI.
  • Develops a systematic approach to lead management, ensuring effective segmentation and nurturing of prospects.
  • Manages and optimize ad campaigns, aiming for increased visibility and engagement.
  • Regularly checks and maintains the health of automation tools, ensuring peak performance.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest marketing automation trends to apply innovative practices to campaigns.
  • Integrates CRM systems to streamline lead nurturing processes, enabling personalized marketing initiatives.
  • Designs and executes multichannel marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Maintain a clean and accurate marketing database, adhering to best practices in data management.
  • Oversees the daily operations of Parts.Cat.Com (PCC), ensuring the platform is user-friendly, up-to-date, and aligned with our go to market objectives.
  • Works with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Implements strategies to increase online sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manages and optimizes online product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images that appeal to our audience.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the eCommerce space.
  • Provides expert support to employees and customers, assisting with inquiries, order processing, and post-sale service to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Generates regular reports on eCommerce performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Demonstrates strong project management capabilities, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Completes projects at the direction of the VP of Marketing or other designated manager within Western States.
  • Safeguards the Cat and Western States brand identities as per established guidelines and expectations.
  • Seeks educational opportunities in latest marketing products and trends to enhance knowledge and skill.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
  • Proven experience in marketing automation with a strong understanding of CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation software (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in B2B eCommerce, preferably within the heavy equipment or parts industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Capability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Aptitude to work as a change agent and implement innovative solutions to related business problems.
  • Ability to adapt strategies quickly based on data and changing market conditions.
  • Ability to travel overnight, as required.
  • Consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (marketing, communications, business, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing automation or eCommerce role, with proven experience in leading marketing campaigns and analyzing campaign performance required.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, AdWords, or other relevant digital marketing certifications can be beneficial.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Frequent walking, standing, driving, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, climbing, twisting and leaning required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.
