Marketing Content Specialist Description:
  • The Global Communications and Marketing Team (GCM) at is looking for a creative marketer and writer to provide engaging and effective content for various projects, including blogs, emails, video scripts, landing page content, campaign content, social media content, and other digital activities. Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including an entry-level understanding of data centers, is strongly desired. This person will need to work to understand moderately technical memory and storage products, be able to interview subject matter experts and ask probing questions for deeper understanding to create written content for non-technical audiences.
  • We are looking for a broadly skilled content author who can create content for a variety of platforms. One day will be spent interviewing product experts about our latest products or technology to produce a landing page. Another might be spent creating a blog about the importance of our products to the economy. While other days might be spent scripting short form videos for social media.
  • You will independently balance multiple activities at the same time, set priorities, and pivot to new tasks quickly. Creativity, organization, clear communication, and an eye for engaging content are required. Be comfortable leading communication efforts and working as part of a globally dispersed team. Collaboration with peers, leaders, and global counterparts is crucial.
Duties:
  • Develop content for product launch and positioning, including FAQs, web landing pages, and social media
  • Develop content for marketing needs, including long form articles, articles that serve SEO needs, video scripts, infographics, and newsletters
  • Analyze and interpret technical product specifications to generate enticing, innovative, and effective user-benefit content
  • Work with web and design teams to help support content development, SEO content strategies, and engagement initiatives
  • Drive ideation sessions with core stakeholders to reveal new insights that help tell compelling stories or lead to effective content
  • Research topics such as technology, hardware, business trends, and gaming to develop creative story ideas. Interview subject matter experts to gather data, insights, and proof points to develop and back up core messages
Requirements:
  • Develop and write effective communication for email messaging, newsletters, presentations, social media videos, and blogs
  • Identify key content objectives within a project and build a strategic plan and timeline to deliver that content
  • Break down large, complex technology deployment information into clear, concise communication for a broader audience
  • A portfolio illustrating a variety of writing styles across different consumer and business audiences
  • Outstanding ability to tell stories that engage, inform, and influence behavior
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing
  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and passion to learn about memory and storage products for data centers
  • Excellent research, interview, and learning skills
  • 8+ years of experience producing quality marketing content
  • BA/BS in English, journalism, marketing, or PR preferred
Compensation:
  • $40-42/hr W-2
