JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Server and Cloud Test Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Server and Cloud Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies and methodologies for server and cloud-based applications and services. This role requires deep expertise in server technologies, cloud platforms, and testing frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of server and cloud-based applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency, leveraging industry-standard tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing of server and cloud-based applications to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and areas for optimization.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and collaborate with development teams to prioritize and address defects in a timely manner.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in server and cloud computing, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our testing capabilities.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, to ensure quality is built into the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior test engineers, providing guidance on testing best practices, automation techniques, and quality assurance methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on server and cloud-based applications and services.
  • Proven expertise in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for server and cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of server technologies, including operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx), and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including familiarity with cloud services and deployment models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
