Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lead Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to contribute significantly to our ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and execute automated testing frameworks for our web and client-server applications utilizing Selenium Web Driver within a .NET framework.
- Maintain and execute load testing suites, while also creating and managing comprehensive project test plans and test cases.
- Conduct manual testing as required and assist in the adoption of quality assurance best practices to enhance overall application quality.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and analytical, with a strong ability to work independently on smaller projects and collaboratively on larger initiatives. Key skills include:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in .NET development and SQL.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment:
This position is based in our Chicago office, requiring three days onsite each week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with roles as an application developer, test engineer, or quality assurance analyst.
- Expertise in cross-browser web automation, preferably using Selenium WebDriver.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (C# or Java preferred).
- Experience with Git and familiarity with industry-standard branching strategies.

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Gherkin-supported automation frameworks such as SpecFlow or Cucumber is a plus.
