Summary:

RailPros, a leading provider of rail engineering and consulting services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team on a seasonal basis. This role will cover a 3-6-month maternity leave and is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned recruiter with a strong background in engineering recruitment. The Talent Acquisition Partner will play a crucial role in ensuring our talent acquisition processes continue to run smoothly, focusing on sourcing and recruiting top talent to meet our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies tailored to RailPros' needs, particularly for engineering positions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify and attract high-quality candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Screening & Interviews: Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit for RailPros' culture.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand their recruitment needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.
  • Offer Management: Manage the offer process, including negotiating terms and facilitating smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular reports on progress and metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Time-to-Fill: Achieve a target time-to-fill of 45 days, for open positions, ensuring timely recruitment.
  • Quality of Hire: Maintain a high quality of hire as measured by performance and retention of new employees.
  • Candidate Satisfaction: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Sourcing Effectiveness: Evaluate and improve sourcing strategies based on effectiveness and ROI.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Recruitment Expertise: In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes, with a strong focus on engineering roles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and data to inform strategies and improve processes.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to manage offers and candidate expectations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all recruitment activities.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of recruiting engineering professionals is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
