North Risk's Select Service #oneTEAM is currently seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager. As a Select Service Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and managing small business accounts ensuring clients insurance needs are met. You will serve as a primary point of contact for clients providing advice, personalized service, and timely assistance.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain strong relationships with small business clients through understanding, advising, and providing correspondence in a quick and accurate mannerAct as a trusted insurance professional, answering questions and assisting with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billingCollaborate with other Account Managers to ensure consistency of processes and procedures across all regionsMonitor and maintain the Select Service task list in collaboration with the other Account Managers to ensure completion in a quick and accurate mannerAnalyze and develop small business insurance solutions to mitigate risks effectively based on client needsStay informed on trends, advancements, and changes to the regulatory climate for business and the insurance industryAttend and actively participate in team, department, and business line meetings Develop and maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriersEnter activity and other relevant information into the company's software system(s) in accordance with company proceduresFollow all federal and state regulations, and best practices regarding errors and omissionsCollect overdue account receivable balances from customers. See company policyContinue professional development; pursue and maintain professional designations if applicable RequirementsJOB SPECIFICATIONS:High school degree or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance industryAbility to obtain and maintain a property & casualty licenseUnderstanding of small business insurance productsBEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: A role model for North Risk Partners' core values, mission, and desired cultureDemonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitudeA self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by exampleEffective oral and written communication skills to effectively represent North Risk Partners as an employer of choiceAbility to build strong, constructive relationships with a diverse range of clients, and organizational partners to discover common goals for a positive experienceStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsProfessionally and positively represent North Risk Partners to all coworkers, clients, and external stakeholdersA team player who collaborates and works well with his/her coworkersA professional who demonstrates the ability to carry on a conversation with clients, Risk Advisors, and other coworkers within North Risk Partners
