This position is responsible for supporting the overall objectives of the Corporate Finance department by
ensuring transactions are adequately documented and recorded correctly in the Company's financial
records and appropriate procedures are performed to safeguard the assets of the Company. The position
provides accounting support and performs financial analysis for various business units and departments.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
•Prepare and review journal entries, supporting analysis and account reconciliations. Ensure that
adequate documentation and support is maintained in the financial records for all transactions,
balances and journal entries.
•Ensure that transactions affecting the financial records of the Company are processed timely,
accurately, consistently and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies and
procedures.
•Complete assigned tasks for the monthly accounting close accurately, timely and in accordance with
plan.
•Provide accounting support to the enterprise and ensure that service level commitments are achieved.
•Assist in the compilation of information for the efficient completion of the Company's annual
financial statement audit.
•Utilize and analyze data to identify trends, issues, irregularities and risks in the accounts. Analyze the
financial results and accounts of business units/departments/functions; perform budget to actual
variance analyses.
•Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
•Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
•Execute assigned processes, procedures and controls to facilitate accurate, complete and efficient
recording and reporting of financial results and information in alignment with corporate guidelines.
•Participate in identifying and implementing improvements to accounting operations, in alignment
with corporate direction, including enhanced processes and procedures, new technology, automation
and systems to improve efficiencies, effectiveness and productivity.
•Enforce and maintain a strong internal control environment throughout the organization.
•Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and Company to timely
identify, communicate and resolve issues.
•Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory
performance of assigned responsibilities.
•Communicate timely with appropriate levels of management to address potential issues and identify
areas that may require heightened attention.

Position Requirements
Required:
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or finance
•Five (5) years of progressively responsible general accounting experience in the accounting
department of a mid to large multi-location corporation, or three (3) years of combined experience
with a mid to large public accounting firm (at least 1 year) and a mid to large multi-location
corporation in an accounting/finance role
•Experience with data manipulation/analytics tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Preferred:
•Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) - active license
•Experience in the accounting area of a publicly-traded company

•General knowledge and the ability to understand, interpret and apply generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP)
•Basic understanding of standard business processes, procedures and practices
•Knowledge of basic internal control principles and the ability to apply in a practical manner to
manage risks
•Working knowledge of integrated financial systems and reporting platforms
•Intermediate computer/technology skills with the ability to utilize various applications and software
(including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, PowerQuery, PowerPivot,
PowerBI) to efficiently and effectively manipulate data for analysis and the aptitude to incorporate
new technology solutions in the performance of responsibilities.
•Detail-oriented and accurate with numbers and data
•Solid quantitative, analytical and financial skills
•Consistent demonstration of good professional judgment
•Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
•Good communication, including verbal, written and listening skills, and interpersonal skills to interact
effectively with a wide range of individuals
•Self-motivated with the curiosity and energy to identify and address issues
•Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong
interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building
•Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
•Able to work effectively under deadlines and time constraints
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent customer service skills and orientation
