We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer (L2/L3) to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will act as a player-coach, adept at troubleshooting and handling onsite escalations while providing leadership and mentorship to other engineers. This role demands extensive hands-on experience in managing and supporting a diverse range of IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities Player-Coach Role:

Lead by example, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while managing your own workload. Troubleshooting:

Address and resolve complex technical issues across a wide range of platforms and environments. Onsite Escalations:

Handle critical onsite issues swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction. Customer Support:

Leverage MSP experience to support multiple customers efficiently, ensuring high service standards. Technical Expertise Virtualization:

Proficiency in VMware, Hyper-V, and Scale Computing. Office 365:

Expertise in setup, migration, and support of Office 365 is mandatory. Hardware/Software:

In-depth knowledge of hardware and software from Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and Apple/Mac. Device Management:

Experience managing servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Microsoft Technologies:

Extensive experience with all versions of Microsoft Windows Server. Expertise in Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) is essential.

Management Tools:

Proficiency in ConnectWise Manage & Control. Monitoring Tools:

Experience with SolarWinds NCentral. Network and Security:

Strong knowledge of firewalls and networking, including FortiGate, SonicWall, Cisco/Meraki, and Aruba Networks.

Qualifications Proven experience in a similar role within an MSP environment, supporting multiple clients. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalations effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco) are a plus.
