Job Description

Experienced Sub-Contractor Coordinator to provide execution and coordination of a Turnaround. The Sub-Contractor Coordinator will assist with the work scope collection, planning, overseeing contractors and support the maintenance, operations, and capital projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turnaround work and field execution.

Previous On-site Field Execution Management of Turnarounds in the Petrochemical Industry.
Ensure that all execution contractors comply with HSE process, procedures, and systems. Assures exceptional housekeeping.
Ensure the contractors comply with contracted work scope and comply with industry codes and standards

Assist, with establish and manage the Turnaround Sub Contractors

Provide coordination and oversight of all Turnaround Sub Contractors related activities

Ensure contractors perform, safe and reliable execution of work list

Responsible for coordination, and distribution of work scope and work packages
Perform periodic schedule reviews, provide insight into improvement of critical path items, analyze contract geographical challenges and suggest mitigation plans to improve work fronts

Assist with development of execution equipment coordination to assure there are no contractor conflicts impeding each other's work fronts
Confer with operations, understand the shutdown decommissioning phase of project to assist where needed to assure decommissioning times are accomplish to assure, field execution impact delays are minimize
Confer with operations, and assist with pre plan to assure permitting is performed as efficiently timely as possible
Align and coordinate to assure that all support craft resources are fully staffed, and that critical projects are provided adequate and timely staffing to assure execution is not impeded. e.g. (Scaffolding, Insulators, Paint, Hole Watch/Fire Watch, Hydroblasting, Milling, Consultants etc.)

Assist with material management distribution, to assure a decisive plan is in place to organize, secure, distribute, provide accountability upon issuance to execution resources / contractors to overcome the common problems associate with material during execution of TAR

Manage, report, provide direct oversight for direct field execution activities as, support, direction, and assistance is required to assure that contractors are performing at peak performance
Assist / coordinate execution QC with client QA to assure Inspection Test Packages (ITP's) are being completed, turned over, reviewed, punch list items are completed, and final turnover signatures are progressing as work packages are completed.
Management of mechanical completion, client care custody process. To assure execution contractors are focused on the correct operations systems, for a smooth transition from execution to system check out, pre-commissioning, to start-up, to on spec production

Assist with the work scope collection and support the contracting strategy.

Responsible to review and provide professional feedback for execution plans, job estimates and work packages.

Work closely with turnaround Leader / Coordinators and managers.
