Position Overview:
The Senior Recruitment Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders while overseeing the daily operations of the employment office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and conduct initial interviews with prospective candidates.
- Facilitate on-site interviews with hiring managers to select suitable candidates for specific project needs and extend contingent job offers in compliance with applicable laws.
- Oversee assigned recruitment requisitions, including the review, modification, and final approval of completed requisitions.
- Monitor and report on staffing plan processes utilizing various software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database systems.
- Assist in the development and management of Employment Staffing Plans by inputting data related to hiring needs.
- Create and revise job descriptions in alignment with project requirements and scope of work.
- Coordinate and implement re-deployment initiatives, ensuring proactive communication with employees prior to the anticipated conclusion of their assignments.
- Manage the operational and administrative aspects of the hiring process, including background checks, drug screenings, health assessments, I-9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, and employment documentation.
- Act as the primary contact for certain phases of the employment process for internal partners at the job site.
- Guide the work of subordinate Talent Acquisition Specialists and/or Recruiters and contribute to performance evaluation discussions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to Tracking Management Systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team-building abilities.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience.
