PEOPLE & TALENT MANAGER

The Kive Company is looking for a People & Talent Manager to work with our team of 70+ employees. The ideal candidate has expertise in the field and is looking for a flexible role that they can really define. We are a family-friendly organization and parents are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Develop recruiting plans and relationships to support seasonal and year-round staffing needs Develop and maintain job descriptions for all salaried and hourly personnel Manage the recruitment, onboarding and orientation process Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organization Employee relations and performance management Maintaining company compliance in accordance with CA Labor Laws Plan and execute company events, trainings and team-building. Maintain pay plan and benefits program Nurture a positive working environment

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field 4+ years of related human resources and recruitment experience, with a track record of successfully identifying top talent Well versed in CA labor laws Tech-savvy, with experience navigating and training others in HR technology Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Excellent mediation skills. Ability to consult and build relationships with senior executive team members

The Kive Company provides solutions to digitize, print and preserve memories into high-quality keepsake books. Our flagship product, Artkive, designed to help parents preserve their children's artwork, has served more than 400,000 families.

The core of our current business is the Artkive Box service, where a parent orders a box, fills it with their children's artwork, and ships it to our Los Angeles-based facility to be photographed and preserved. We employ 50+ photographers, photo editors, and book designers, who use our tools and technology to create the high-quality product and service that our customers expect.

We also recently launched Lifekive, a new brand which expands our offerings in the memory space. With Lifekive, customers send in their photos and artifacts to be archived and curated to tell the story of a lifetime.
