As an HR Associate with us, you'll have the opportunity contribute to meaningful projects for clients in a variety of industries.

This is a part-time position. Associate expected to reside in or near Baton Rouge, LA. This is a hybrid position.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Associate to join our team. This position offers the chance to support multiple client accounts, with a primary focus on recruiting support. As an Associate, you'll effectively source and pre-screen candidates for interviews, as well as assist our consultants with various HR tasks. This role is perfect for someone pursuing an HR-related degree and/or foundational human resources experience who wants to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

While most work will be done remotely, some training and meetings may be in-person. As such, the Associate will need to reside in or near the Baton Rouge area.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sourcing and pre-screening candidates for various job positions.
  • Support consultants in conducting initial candidate interviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Assist with managing candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems.
  • Aid in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms.
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related tasks such as onboarding paperwork, employee records maintenance, etc.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients on HR-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field (or pursuing degree with some coursework complete) + some level of experience within a professional level position and/or 1-3 years years experience in an HR related position, recruiting related experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as strong skills with other technology (capabilities to utilize various systems and recruiting platforms and file management/storage systems).
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Must be resourceful. Leverage tools and technology to jump in with the initiative to figure things out.
  • Must be extremely organized with ability to follow up and follow through on action items (juggling various priorities at any given time).
