The West Finance Coordinator position will assist the West Finance Team with planning and executing a fundraising plan for major donors in the Western Region of the United States including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. This position is based in Washington, DC or San Francisco, CA. The West Finance Coordinator will manage regional scheduling, database management, and assist with donor prospecting and outreach as appropriate. The West Finance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining their own donor portfolio and calendaring surrogate events. The Coordinator will report to the West Finance Director and work jointly with the West Finance Team on a daily basis. Responsibilities/Duties

Manage a regional schedule and trip calendar for meetings and events with internal and external principals. Support the West Finance Director and West Deputy Finance Directors with project management. Write briefing materials for internal and external meetings and events. Develop meeting agendas. Update weekly reports. Facilitate vetting processes for donors, surrogates, and event venues. Manage regional donor databases and lists. Oversee regional call time and email blasts. Travel and staff surrogates at finance meetings and events as needed. Support the West Finance Director with administrative and writing tasks. Coordinate with internal DNC departments on behalf of the regional team. Assist with donor prospecting, outreach, and maintenance as appropriate. Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission. Qualifications and Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 1-2 years of related work experience. Previous committee, government, nonprofit, or campaign finance/fundraising experience. Working knowledge of NGP database. Exceptionally organized. Ability to think critically and strategically. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Multi-tasker who thinks fast on their feet. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to take-initiative and learn quickly. Ability to work cohesively with other staff members. Passion for the Democratic Party. The starting salary for the West Finance Coordinator position is $56,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The West Finance Coordinator will require travel, which could be up to 30% of the time. This is a full time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
