What You'll Do The PM/PE will apply the ASCE Standard 38-22, providing responsive and reliable Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services to our clients. The PM/PE operates under a certain degree of autonomy using the staff and resources allocated to them to provide top quality service to the client while meeting profitability goals. As a Project Manager at TRG you'll be encouraged to get out from behind your desk to visit your project sites, take clients to lunch, and participate in professional organizations. You will work as a salaried, exempt from overtime employee, which may require working more than 40 hours per week in times of high demand. While at work you'll be responsible for the following: Applying ASCE standard Civil Engineering practices to assigned SUE projects. Performing project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines defined, within the time and schedule allocations provided. These assignments will include, but are not limited to: Preparing client proposals and estimates Coordinating permits as needed for project execution Contacting local, state and federal agencies and client personnel to request and check data, reports, and other material, as needed Reviewing and processing field data on assigned projects, recognizing discrepancies in results. Preparing engineering documents using AutoCAD and/or Microstation (Open Roads) software platforms, and assembling project deliverable packages Reviewing invoices and preparing/reviewing progress reports to client QA/QC deliverables of peer PM's Business development and client relationships. Representing the firm at client meetings, and professional organizations Communicating clearly with other company personnel, including Project Managers, Field Staff, and Clients Being a self-starter, with a driven work ethic What You'll Need Certification - A Professional Engineer (PE), Civil, licensed in Texas Previous Engineering experience in SUE highly preferred, Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in related Civil Engineering field required Previous experience in Utility Coordination a plus, but not required Mastery of MS Office products, i.e.: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (Open Roads) is a plus Proficient technical writing skills Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screenings Work Location: 575 Round Rock West Dr. Suite K400 Round Rock, TX 78681 (Full-time remote work/telework not available for this position) Minimum Physical Requirement of this Job: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to visit project sites as necessary for troubleshooting and to ensure engineering quality Who We Are TRG is a minority-woman owned Texas Corporation, established in 2012.
