An exciting opportunity to join a leading Manufacturer in the Mount Pleasant, IA area as an EHS Manager. The EHS Manager is responsible for coordinating all ESH activities for the plant, including aligning and transforming ESH strategy into action plans and ensuring implementation. Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably in safety management, environmental science, or related discipline and 7 years of relevant professional experience. 3 or more years of experience in industrial production processes. Experience preferably in operational units with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals. Duties Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit. Live and promote the ESH principles and methods. Plan and implement occupational safety according to standards. Plan and implement environmental protection according to standards. Plan and implement medical services as well as occupational health management according to standards. Implement external (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and internal (e.g., ESH management manual, tools, KPIs) ESH standards and legal requirements and provide feedback and input for further development of standards. Ensure structured root cause analyses of incidents, define and implement sustainable measures. Provide feedback and input for further development of standards regarding ESH processes.
